It
was only the day before her class that Nina began to
worry about it. Dreams of sparkling costumes, thunderous
applause and her glittering dancing career were replaced
with countless nightmares.
What
if everyone had friends in the class and she was left
with no-one to talk to?
|
What
if she couldn't pick up the new steps as quickly as everyone
else? What if she got her feet in a muddle and fell over in
front of everyone? What if the teacher was scary and shouted
at her for doing something wrong?
On
Saturday morning, Nina's mum found her crying in her bedroom.
'What's
up, Nina?' asked her mum.
'I've
changed my mind,' Nina managed to blurt out inbetween sobs,
'I don't want to go to my dance class anymore.'
