Nina's
First Dance Class
It
was Nina's 5th birthday and she had just one more present
to open.
'What's
this?' she asked her parents, pulling away the wrapping
paper to reveal something pink - her favourite colour
- and shiny. Lifting it out of the paper she soon realised
what it was. A leotard! And that could only mean one
thing - she was finally allowed to start dance classes.

Nina
had been pestering her parents to let her start dancing, just
like her older brother Joshua, for ages now, but they had
said that she must wait until she was older.
Rushing
over to her mum and dad, Nina gave them the biggest hug ever.
'Thank
you, thank you, thank you! This is the best present ever.
When can I start?'
'We've
booked you in at the beginners class at the Gradfield School
of Dance this Saturday,' her mum replied. This is where Joshua
had been going for a couple of years now and he was loving
every minute of it. He had taken his first exam just last
month and was eagerly awaiting the results. Nina already could
not wait until she
could start taking exams.
